There are many places at and around the Rarotonga International Airport that serve a range of dining options. From a quick drink in between flights to an enjoyable tropical dining experience, the airport has many options to suit you. Please note, that all the lounges listed below only accept New Zealand and Cook Island currency.
A garden seating area is available adjacent to the domestic departure gate. Refreshments are available from the Ka Kite Café and automatic vending machines.
A public lounge area is located at the departure gates after passengers have been processed through Security and Immigration. The Gate lounge is adjacent to a range of Duty Free Shops, and Reefside Rarotonga where you can purchase hot and cold beverages and café style snacks while you wait for your aircraft to board.
Air New Zealand operates an airside lounge – after passengers are processed through Security - adjacent to the departure gates for departing international premium passengers and Koru Club members. The lounge is part of the recent Airport Terminal development and offers a relaxing oasis for departing guests with food, beverages and complimentary wifi/internet.
